Gyeonggi Tteokjip

Gyeonggi Tteokjip in Mangwon sells North Korean-style injeolmi called iti-tteok, along with songpyeon and injeolmi. The iti-tteok is made with glutinous rice and combines soft anko with chewy rice cake, and black sesame, mugwort, and sweet pumpkin sweet potato chal-tteok are also available. In the store you can sample the rice cakes freely and there is a water dispenser, while songpyeon must be ordered in advance. After 3 to 4 p.m. the rice cakes are sold out, making it difficult to buy the product you want.
