Bonjeon Hoejip

Bonjeon Hoetjip is a restaurant in Mangwon, Seoul, serving live-fish hoe and seafood dishes. In winter it offers yellowtail and assorted hoe of flounder, rockfish (ureok), and flatfish, with sides such as san-nakji and scallops, finished with maeuntang (spicy fish stew). The maeuntang must be ordered at the same time as the rest of the meal, and the seating includes tables and floor seats where shoes are removed. In the evening, customers crowd in and have to line up.
