Maple Block Barbecue

Maple Block Barbecue is a barbecue bar next to Grand Central Market in Los Angeles that serves smoked brisket, tri-tip, and burgers. The kitchen uses a wood smoker for the brisket, tri-tip, and brisket fries, and the bar carries several kinds of draft beer. Orders are placed at the bar and picked up at a window, with outdoor seating available on a first-come basis. Some pieces of the brisket are excessively dry depending on the cut.
