Yanga Park is a grassy park in Los Angeles between El Pueblo and Union Station, across from Olvera Street. It has benches, trees, and shaded lawns, with food carts nearby, making it a place to rest for a while. The park takes its name from a Native American village that stood in this area before Europeans arrived, and a monument honoring Medal of Honor recipients remains there. It is also a gathering place for homeless people.
