The Chinese American Museum displays the history and culture of Chinese Americans, located near Union Station and Chinatown in El Pueblo. Its exhibits cover early settlement stories, documents, and memorabilia, as well as the 1871 massacre and population growth shown through rice. The museum occupies the only remaining building of the original Los Angeles Chinatown, and its three floors of exhibits take about an hour to see. It is small in scale and has fewer things to see than the Japanese American National Museum.
