Sunnynook River Park

Sunny Nook River Park is a small riverside park in the Atwater area of Los Angeles, between the Los Angeles River and the Golden State Freeway. It has flat natural walking paths and riverside jogging and cycling routes, with California native plants close at hand. Trails connect toward Griffith Park and the Mulholland Fountain, and traffic noise carries on the pedestrian bridge over the 5 Freeway. Homeless people are present among the shrubs, so walking alone requires caution.
