Konna Monja

Gonnamonja is a tofu shop in Nishiki Market in Kyoto that sells soy milk donuts and soy milk ice cream. Its main items are bite-sized soy milk donuts and soy milk ice cream, and the donuts are not sweet and lean toward a plain taste. The donuts are fried to order and served warm, and dipping them in the soy milk ice cream pairs the flavors well. The soy milk ice cream is closer to a sorbet than a soft serve.
