Kyoto Station Building

Kyoto Station Building is a 16-story commercial complex that wraps around Kyoto Station. Meals and shopping are available inside the station, along with Isetan department store and the underground Porta shopping arcade. Escalators lead to upper floors with a synthetic-turf rest area and views, and the building is known as a spot for night scenery. Its size makes the platforms and underground subway lines difficult to find.
