Sizuya - Gion

Sizuya - Gion is a bakery selling bread and sandwiches in Gion, east of Gion-Shijo Station and before Yasaka Shrine. Its signature item is karune, a bread with ham, onion, and margarine, and customers can pick a bread to eat in the store or take out. It opens early in the morning, and karune can be warmed in a toaster. The store is small, with seating limited to about four tables, and there is a shared toilet inside.
