Nakamura Tokichi Main Branch

Nakamura Tokichi Honten is a traditional tea house in Uji, Kyoto, located in front of Uji JR Station. It serves matcha desserts in bamboo tubes and a parfait available only at the main branch, and a cup of the day's tea arrives before ordering. From the morning, customers register their wait on a tablet and receive a numbered ticket, then get entry notification by QR code or email, which allows a visit to Byodo-in in the meantime. The wait exceeded number 50 even at 10:20 a.m., and the food also takes a long time to arrive.
