Menya Soyun is a small ramen shop in Goryo, Higashi Ward, Kumamoto, set just inside the Kumamoto eastern bypass. Its rich tonkotsu ramen comes with a foamy, creamy pork bone soup and thin noodles, and it also serves fish-and-shellfish tonkotsu and tsukemen. There is a dedicated parking space in front of the shop, but it has few spots and is hard to park in. The tonkotsu broth has a strong pork bone smell.
