Akaushi Dining Yoka-Yoka

Akaushi Dining Yokayoka Teppan & Grill is a steak restaurant one minute from a Kumamoto tram stop, serving akagyu-don, a rice bowl made with the prefecture's red beef. The akagyu-don tops rice with tender, mild beef and a sauce that is not strongly seasoned, and the restaurant also serves horse meat sashimi and hamburger steak. On the second Tuesday of each month, the akagyu-don is discounted. The branch is attached to a hotel and the interior is clean, but satisfaction relative to price is on the low side.
