Tamakiya

Tamakiya is a third-generation kimono shop on the Fukagawa museum street in Kiyosumi-shirakawa, Tokyo, selling kimono, yukata and festival clothing. Its stock ranges from traditional kimono to denim kimono, as well as haori, hanten, samue, jinbei and small items such as fukin and magnets. Festival tabi are available in multiple sizes, and staff measure customers in the store or help them try on traditional clothing during a consultation, with PayPay accepted. The store gets crowded before festivals, so buy what you need early.
