Unagino Naruse

Unagino Naruse is a restaurant near Umeda Station and Higashi-Umeda Station in Osaka that serves freshwater eel over rice and unaju. The unaju comes with a whole eel grilled crisp on the outside and soft inside, served with a sweet-salty sauce and rice. Unaju is ordered in one of three sizes and eaten with scallions, wasabi, and sansho powder. The dining space is not large, so seating is limited.
