Izumo Rukua is a freshwater eel restaurant in Osaka that serves eel rice bowls topped with large eel and egg dishes. The bowls hold plenty of eel, egg, and seasoned rice, and leftover rice can be packed as takeout rice balls. On a Saturday at 11 a.m. the wait was 10 minutes, and on a Friday at 1:30 p.m. it was one hour, with Google Maps reservation guests entering first. The eel is overly soft and the rice is dry.
