Shiotsuru Noodle Restaurant

Shiotsuru Noodle Restaurant is a soba and udon shop that also operates as an izakaya, located inside the JR Osaka Station ticket gates on the second floor of the connecting passage between Sakurabashi Gate and Central Gate. It serves udon and soba in the morning and at lunch, then runs as an izakaya from the evening, using katsuobushi broth and noodles boiled to order with self-service tempura flakes. Customers order and pay before sitting, and during the busy lunch period they take a numbered ticket and wait about 10 to 15 minutes. At noon on weekends, three to four people line up before ordering.
