Sanchan-Ya

Sanchan-Ya is a street-stall-style takoyaki shop in Nakatsu, Kita Ward, Osaka, that has grilled takoyaki for more than 40 years. The takoyaki is grilled carefully to bring out the plain, savory taste of octopus itself. The elderly owner grills alone, and customers getting takeout can talk with him and with other customers. The taste differs from the takoyaki most people picture.
