Hige Sushi

Higesushi is on the second basement floor of Hanshin Department Store in Umeda, Osaka, and serves sushi and rice bowls topped with thick slices of raw fish. Its main dishes are the Hige set meal and a rice bowl with pickled seafood, and a bowl of miso soup with a piece of fish comes with the meal. On a Saturday around 5:30 p.m. the wait was five minutes, and orders are placed from a menu for foreign customers with photos and English. Many customers eat alone, and the restaurant is mainly visited by locals.
