Iriyama Tofu Shop

Iriyama Tofu Shop is a tofu shop in Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto, a few minutes south of the Kyoto Prefectural Government Office along Aburakoji Street. It has been in operation for over 200 years, since the 12th year of the Bunsei era. The shop sells tofu, oboro tofu, soy milk, atsuage, and topl, a tofu waffle. Preparation starts at 4 a.m. each day, and the tofu is set out around 10 a.m., with soybeans boiled in a large cauldron and kamado; tofu donuts are not currently sold.
