Samarkand is an Uzbek restaurant on the Central Asia Street near Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station in Seoul. It serves samsa and lamb shashlik, with the samsa and ssamsa baked in a tandoor in the traditional way and the lamb shashlik made with tender meat. Shurpa contains potato, carrot, chickpea, onion and lamb, while the chicken soup contains carrot and potato. The portions are smaller than they used to be.
