Joseonok

Joseonok is an old Korean barbecue restaurant in the alleys of Euljiro, serving seasoned galbi and naengmyeon. The seasoned galbi is grilled over charcoal, cut, and served, with cod soup and Gyeongsang-style beef and radish soup on the side. Banchan arrives first after ordering, and there is a wait while the meat cooks. The galbi toughens as it cools, and the cod soup broth reduces quickly once rice is added.
