Wataru is a small izakaya in central Seoul that serves Japanese home-style dishes and sashimi. You can order a half portion of sashimi together with other dishes, and non-alcoholic drinks are available. Seating is limited, so on weekends you reserve in advance, take off your shoes, and walk up the stairs to sit at the bar. Prices run high relative to the food and service.
