7.8 Makgeolli

7.8 Makgeolli 1hojeom is a fusion bar near Gwangjang Market in Seoul that serves more than 30 kinds of makgeolli from across the country. It pairs the rice wine with anju such as basil potato jeon, a Korean dish reworked in a Western style. Reservations are taken through Instagram and walk-ins are accepted; one account describes waiting about 20 minutes for an 8 p.m. walk-in.
