Yuitsu is a restaurant in Daegu that serves tendon, a Japanese rice bowl topped with fried shrimp, eel and vegetables. The signature ebi tendon comes with shrimp, eggplant and shiitake mushroom over rice, served with a tare sauce that is not sweet. A visit at 1 p.m. involved a 30-minute wait, and rice and soup can be refilled at no extra cost. After the meal, tea is poured over the rice to eat as ochazuke, and waits grow longer for those who arrive late during meal times.
