Mondokatsu is a Japanese-style tonkatsu restaurant in Daegu. The hire and loin cuts are thickly fried and finished with a charcoal smoke aroma, and shrimp katsu, maldon salt, and rosemary oil are served alongside. On a Saturday at 1 p.m., entry came about 40 minutes after an online reservation, and the food arrived 10 minutes later. During lunch hours, a wait forms outside.
