Gangsan Myeonok

Gangsan Myeonok Main Branch is a naengmyeon restaurant near Gyodong Market in Daegu, serving Pyeongyang naengmyeon alongside mandu and tteokgalbi. Its mul naengmyeon mixes meat broth with dongchimi, topped with cucumber, yeolmu, dongchimi garnish and jangjorim beef, and kimchi mari naengmyeon and Gangsan jikwon naengmyeon are also listed as signature dishes. The restaurant has continued since 1951 as Daegu's first Pyeongyang naengmyeon house, and a warm onyuksu is served first after ordering. The portion of noodles is large, so finishing a single bowl is difficult.
