Daepung Banjeom

Daepung Banjeom sits next to Seomun Market in Daegu and is a Chinese restaurant run by a hwageo, or overseas Chinese, family. Its representative dishes are white samseon jjamppong and japtang bap, and it also serves jjajangmyeon with thin noodles. The restaurant is an old establishment with regulars who have eaten there since their high school days, and the kitchen is visible from the first floor. The food is generally on the salty side.
