Daegu Seomun Old-Fashioned Castella is a castella shop in Daegu's Seomun Market. It makes large plain castella fresh on the day of sale and also offers fresh cream and cheese versions. One large sheet is cut into 10 portions, and the line usually takes 20 to 25 minutes, or up to an hour when it is long. The cheese castella is mostly sold out by the morning, so fewer remain for those who arrive late.
