Iksun Jeongyuk

Iksun Jeongyuk is a meat restaurant on the main street of Ikseon-dong in Jongno, Seoul, selling cubed pork jowl and cubed samgyeopsal. Ordering hang-sam-i brings both cuts together, and the thick-cut pork jowl is rolled over charcoal to seal in the juices. Meat is grilled for you indoors, but at the vinyl-greenhouse-style outdoor seats you grill it yourself, and there can be a wait during peak hours. The pork jowl is cut into squares with the fat attached, giving it a rich, strongly gamy smell.
