Halmaejip

Halmaejip is a restaurant in Sajik-ro 12-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul, that has served jokbal and gamjatang in the Naejadong alley since 1975. The jokbal is sliced, coated in a spicy sauce, and served warm and very tender, while the spiciness of the gamjatang is adjusted when you order. It was listed in the Michelin Bib Gourmand from 2017 through 2024. Food can take 45 minutes to arrive after ordering, so waits are long.
