Gyeonghoeru is a wooden pavilion on the northwest pond of Gyeongbokgung in Seoul, where the Joseon court held state banquets and received envoys. Kings feasted with officials there and performed rain rituals during droughts. The two-story pavilion appears to float on the water, casting its shadow on the surface. It remains one of the largest wooden pavilions within Gyeongbokgung.
