Fru is a small izakaya near the Hyundai Gye-dong building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, serving aged hoe and rice bowls. It offers modum sashimi, eel rice bowl, and maguro don, and the space is decorated with music CDs and LPs. Rice bowls are available at lunch, and a wait is common, so reservations are needed. Prices are on the higher side, and the lunch rice bowl tastes ordinary.
