Yeongchumun is the west gate of Gyeongbokgung in Seoul and one of the four gates surrounding the palace. Its name means "welcoming autumn," since the west is associated with that season. Passing through Yeongchumun leads to a wide walking path, a pond, and Gyeonghoeru. The gate is plainer in decoration than Gwanghwamun.
