Yeollin Songhyeon Square

Yeollin Songhyeon Green Plaza is a large green space in the city center, located between Gyeongbokgung and Jongno, across the road north of Insadong. It covers about six times the area of Seoul Plaza and includes a 10,000-square-meter lawn, colonies of cosmos and zinnias, a small pond, and an observation deck. The site was enclosed behind high walls for over 100 years and opened to the public in 2022, with walking paths connecting to Gwanghwamun, Insadong, and Bukchon. The flower beds and sculptures change with each season, so the scenery differs depending on when you visit.
