Sujeongjeon is a historic building beside Gyeonghoeru at Gyeongbokgung in Seoul, used as a government office during the Joseon dynasty. It stands on the site of Jiphyeonjeon under King Sejong, where Hunminjeongeum was created and promulgated, and it was rebuilt in 1867 under King Gojong and given the name Sujeongjeon. It is the only remaining building among the Gwonnaegaksa, the government offices inside the palace, and it was used by high officials to discuss policy. The Gwonnaegaksa that clustered in front of Sujeongjeon and the surrounding corridors were mostly demolished in 1915 during the Joseon Mulsan Gongjinhoe.
