Seungdong Church sits on Insadong-gil in Seoul and dates to 1893. Its old brick building and bell tower show the older look of the Insadong area. Student representatives used the church as a meeting place to plan the March 1st Movement in 1919, and it is the mother church of the Presbyterian Church of Korea Hapdong. The building was designated Seoul Tangible Cultural Property No. 130 on April 6, 2001.
