Sajikdan is a state ritual site west of Gyeongbokgung in Seoul, where kings made offerings to the gods of land and grain during the Joseon period. The east altar for land and the west altar for grain stand side by side, and the king prayed there for good harvests and rain. The inner area is currently closed for cultural heritage repairs, and construction sections remain in various parts. Traffic in the surrounding area is heavy, which makes walking inconvenient.
