Marronnier Park sits on Daehak-ro behind Exit 2 of Hyehwa Station in Seoul. Small outdoor stages host busking and free performances, and theaters cluster around the park. The site was the old Seoul National University campus, and one side holds a marker for the Janggyeonggyo bridge site and a statue of Kim Sang-ok. Weekends and evenings draw crowds, so a quiet park is hard to find.
