Kong Gallery sits directly beside the entrance to Cheong Wa Dae in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and shows photography, media art, and sculpture installations. Its exhibitions shift between genres, including a Michael Kenna photography show, a collaborative sculpture installation by Kim Seung-young, and a media art exhibition on virtual reality. The building is wider inside than its exterior suggests, and each exhibition rearranges the layout to use this unusual structure. Natural light and artificial lighting reflect off the glass of the artwork frames, which makes viewing difficult.
