Dongdaemun Dakhanmari (Whole Chicken Stew) Alley

Dongdaemun Dak Hanmari Golmok is a cluster of restaurants selling dak hanmari and dak jeongol, located next to Dongdaemun Gwangjang Market. The main style is a jeongol boiled with a whole chicken in the pot. In the early 1990s, chickens were raised to full size before slaughter to bring out the chicken aroma and broth flavor. Near the entrance, there is also a restaurant that grills fish over charcoal.
