Bukchon Palgyeong is a tourist site in Seoul where Joseon-era hanok and traditional Korean houses stand together. From the stairway streets of upper Bukchon, visitors look down over the hanok village. Because residents live there, visitors must keep quiet and viewing hours are fixed. The area is consistently crowded with tourists.
