The Buddhist Central Museum is a specialized Buddhist museum located inside Jogyesa in Jongno-gu, Seoul, preserving and displaying Buddhist cultural artifacts. It exhibits sacred objects such as Buddha statues, taenghwa paintings, and pagodas from temples nationwide, and also holds special exhibitions. The museum opened on March 17, 2007, and oversees the sacred object museums and artifact exhibition halls of 34 Jogye Order temples. The exhibition halls and interior are spacious and comfortable, and the restrooms are clean.
