Baekak Art Museum sits inside the Insadong culture street in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and shows calligraphy and literary painting. It was founded in 1983 by the calligrapher Iljung Kim Chunghyeon and presents modern Hangeul and Hanja calligraphy works. Exhibitions change every Wednesday, admission is free, and the museum is close to a subway station. Looking through the exhibitions at an easy pace calls for more mental leisure than most visitors have.
