Dongkaleum

Dongkareum is a nakji bokkeum restaurant in an alley of the seaside village of Sinchon-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju. The nakji bokkeum's spice level can be adjusted, and it comes with somyeon and a ttak-saeu (small lobster-like shrimp) doenjang jjigae. The nakji is raw, so it cooks up tender rather than chewy, and miyeok naengguk tempers the heat. The indoor seating is cramped, with narrow gaps between tables.
