Gubongsan is a 1,002-meter peak in Jinan whose ridgeline runs through nine summits. The standard route starts at the Gubongsan parking lot and passes the first through eighth peaks before reaching the ninth, Janggunbong. A 100-meter suspension bridge sits between the fourth and fifth peaks, and most of the rocky ridge section is laid with wooden deck stairs. The stretch from the eighth peak to the ninth is steep and takes about 40 minutes.
