Tapsa is a Buddhist temple in a valley on the south side of Maisan in Jinan, with a cluster of stone towers built from natural rock. The towers, stacked over about 30 years by the ascetic Yi Gapryong, stand densely below a cliff, with Ammaibong and Sumaibong visible behind them. When heavy rain falls, water drops from the Maisan cliff like a waterfall, and neungsohwa blooms in early to mid-July. From the southern parking lot to Tapsa is 1.6 to 2.5 km, a 20 to 40 minute walk, while the northern parking lot has many stairs.
