Tarihi Sultanahmet Köftecisi Selim Usta

Sultanahmet Köftecisi Selim Usta is a köfte restaurant on Divan Yolu Caddesi in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul, run by the same family for four generations since 1920. The köfte is beef formed into patties and grilled over charcoal, served in a style similar to Korean tteokgalbi, and the restaurant also serves lamb kebab and grilled lamb chops. Meals come with salad, pickled peppers and a spicy sauce, and food tends to arrive quickly even when orders are heavy. The meat and the sauce are strongly salty.
