Pierre Loti Hill in Istanbul overlooks the Golden Horn and has a cafe and observation point at the top. Visitors drink çay and strong Turkish coffee at outdoor tables while looking out over the Golden Horn, the sea, and the city. The cable car queue takes about an hour, and the uphill path next to the cemetery takes about 20 minutes on foot. Seating is mostly outdoors, so photos on cloudy days are disappointing.
