Istanbul Museum of Modern Art

Istanbul Modern is a contemporary art museum in Galataport, Istanbul, showing sculpture, painting, and video works by Turkish artists. The building, designed by Renzo Piano, holds permanent and temporary exhibitions, and a rooftop water garden and sea view continue the visit. Viewing takes one to two hours, and bags are checked at the entrance and at Galataport, with large bags and backpacks left in free lockers. The number of exhibitions is small and the existing collection repeats during this period.
