Beylerbeyi Palace is a palace the Ottoman emperors used as a summer residence, located on the Asian side of Istanbul below the Bosphorus Bridge and the Bosphorus Strait. Visitors walk through the ornate interior and gardens, and past benches and a garden cafe facing the strait. Before noon, entry is direct after a bag check, and a free Korean audio guide can be borrowed by leaving a passport or ID. The exterior is currently covered by construction screening.
